More than 250,000 students attend the Maricopa Community Colleges each year taking credit and non-credit courses. Fall 2007 credit student demographics include:

  • 56% women
  • 42% non-Anglo
  • 41% age 25 or older
  • 75% part-time
  • 39% evening
  • 35% intend to transfer to a college or university
  • 30% intend to gain or improve workforce skills
  • 12% attend for personal interest

Employees

In Fall 2007, the Maricopa Community Colleges employed nearly 3,800 full-time faculty and staff and more than 4,000 part-time faculty and staff.
