The purpose of this web site is to:

• Provide overview and information about the Maricopa County Community Colleges District – Mission, Vision, Values, Governance, Policies and Practices - to the Maricopa Colleges and the Higher Learning Commission as the colleges engage in self study and reaccredidation efforts.

• Provide a single location for contextual information about the Maricopa system, which will enable the colleges to focus on self study work.

• Provide a basis for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the District and the Higher Learning Commission regarding the reporting of common information about the District as a district. (An MOU already exists on reporting of financial information as a district).
