What types of degrees can I earn at Maricopa?

ANSWER:

Maricopa awards the following Associate Degrees appropriate for transfer:

• ASSOCIATE IN ARTS (AA)
• ASSOCIATE IN BUSINESS (ABus)
• ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE (AS)
• ASSOCIATE IN FINE ARTS (AA FA)
• ASSOCIATE IN ARTS – ELEMENTARY EDUCATION (AA EE)
• ASSOCIATE IN TRANSFER PARTNERSHIP (ATP)
• ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE (AAS)*

If you complete any of the above degrees*, you will be admitted to your transfer institution with Junior status; however, this does not guarantee admission into specific college programs. To maximize your time and credits, work with an academic advisor or counselor as soon as possible to identify the degree that best suits your goals and needs.
