Transfer Advisory Group (TAG)
The Transfer Advisory Group (TAG) is a workgroup of MCCCD faculty and college/district office professionals collaborating to improve support of the transfer mission. TAG serves as an advisory body for policy and direction for transfer at district, statewide, and national levels.In addition to other responsibilities, TAG is charged with:
- Reviewing proposals for new transfer partnerships
- Advocating for implementation of transfer policy in a consistent manner district-wide
- Monitoring trends and best practices to guide continuous improvement
- Evaluating effectiveness of transfer policies and partnerships
- Reviewing technology plans and implementation to best serve the transfer mission
- Responding to emerging issues and needs as related to transfer
- Establishing guiding principles related to the transfer mission
