1.   Both GLG101 & GLG103 must be taken to secure [S1/S2] credit.
 
2.GLG110/GLG111 satisfy only [S2] requirements. Both must be taken to secure [S2] credit.
 
3.Academic specialization: An academic specialization requires 18 hours in one subject of which nine must be upper division. Math, science, and foreign language are the exception and do not require upper-division credit.

4.Students must meet both U.S. and Arizona constitution requirements for graduation and certification. These requirements may be met by taking the appropriate POS courses listed above or achieving passing scores on appropriate constitution tests. No credit is earned with the constitution tests.

PTPP Admission
 
Students are eligible for consideration for admission to the PTPP if they meet the following criteria:
-Admission to ASU as a classified student.
-A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50.
-Completion of at least 56 semester hours by the time of PTPP admission.
-Submission of scores from either the American College Test (ACT) or Pre-Professional Skills Test
(a minimum score is not required. An applicant may be referred for additional skill development while matriculating through the program of study).
-Completion of ENG101 and 102 and General studies [L1] or [S1] and [N1] requirements with a grade of "C" or better (courses in progress do not satisfy this requirement).
-A special application with additional supporting materials (emphasis is placed on prior volunteer or paid experience working with the age or group of the certification area sought).
