The first step in development is to conduct the research. The District Curriculum Office provides official program information on its website. Users should utilize the Program Search engines to view the current program requirements. Programs by College link provides a list of all programs available at each college. All Maricopa Programs by Title link lists all programs in alpha order. The Occupational Program Matrix link provides the Matrix which is included in the MCCCD Catalog Common Pages. These links are available through the News and Resources tab above along with other information on programs.

Curriculum development is supported by the colleges through their Vice President of Academic Affairs, Occupational Administrator, Instructional Design Facilitator and Curriculum Technician. Users can begin the development of curriculum through these College Contacts.

Development of a New Occupational Program proposal requires the initial development of a New Occupational Program Early Alert and approval of the Alert by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
