District Curriculum Processing Calendar

This calendar includes dates, deadlines and events pertaining to the MCCCD curriculum process and integrates information from the Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation Web Page as well as the MCCCD Academic Calendar.  The underlined text indicates a link to additional information.

The Calendar presents the information and dates in chronological order from the time of the preliminary submission of curriculum proposals, District Curriculum Committee review and approval, Governing Board review and approval and final dissemination of the curriculum to the colleges via the Student Information Systems. Where curricular activities cross over into subsequent months, these months are identified with special notes and the activities are described.

The specific dates and information related to the statewide process for Course Equivalencies, Common Courses, and Degrees and Pathways is provided for users access. This information affects the MCCCD general education processes and MCCCD degrees and pathways.

Course Modification proposals must be processed and approved three months prior to the effective first year/term on changes to:
Prefix/Number/Suffix, Credits, Prerequisites, Last/Year Term (course deletions)
