District Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation Report
Academic Subjects
Totals: 298 (Active Subjects)
(In order by Subject)

The report on New Academic Subjects provides information on new and modified credit curriculum subjects in process for review and action, recently approved new subjects, inactivated subjects and a comprehensive list of active subjects for credit curriculum. District Curriculum Committee subject approval dates have been added to the information beginning with the subjects processed in Fall 2003. The Subject Detail link provides information that was included in the college proposal for District Curriculum Committee review and action as well as information on developing a new subject. Users should note that some subjects are developed and processed for action well in advance of introducing new courses using the subject in the course bank.

This report is updated following the schedule defined in the Curriculum Processing Calendar for proposals submitted by the colleges and action by the MCCCD Governing Board on proposed curriculum. This page also provides link(s) to subreports that present the subject information in different formats. The Academic Subjects Report Sorted by Instructional Councils lists Councils and all subjects that fall under them for curricular purposes. In addition the Total Active Courses Per Subject report provides a total number of active courses for the respective subjects. This report is updated on a quarterly basis.

MCCCD Skill Centers' Subjects: The District Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation (CCTA), through an agreement between the Maricopa Skill Center, the Southwest Skill Center and the MCCCD CCTA, also provides a list of the MCCCD Skill Centers' subject information. The CCTA will carry subject information on their web site for the Skill Centers and will update the information as communication occurs between and among the Centers and the District CCTA. Click on the following link to access the information,

Maricopa Skill Centers' List of Active Subjects.
