MCCCD Skill Centers' List of Active Subjects

The MCCCD Skill Centers' List of Active Subjects is provided by the District Curriculum Office through an agreement between the Maricopa Skill Center, the Southwest Skill Center and the MCCCD Curriculum Office. The Skill Centers have changed their operational procedures to support Skill Center information within the SIS Course Catalog. Course information will now contain alpha-character subjects which would be different from the subjects developed for credit-bearing courses. The District Curriculum Office will carry subject information on their web site for the Skill Centers and will update the information as communication occurs between and among the Centers and the District Curriculum Office.

The list of active subjects is information for access by the MCCCD and Skill Centers' curriculum developers. The curriculum developers should ensure that they access this information prior to moving forward with discussions on new subjects. This will prevent duplication of subjects across the colleges and the Skill Centers.

Unless otherwise indicated, the effective term for the Skill Centers' subjects is 01/01/1901. This date is used to specify curriculum that pre-dates SIS.

Effective terms are identified with the year and numeric code for the semester or summer session. Fall Semester = 6, Spring =2, Summer I = 4, Summer II = 5
