My
Transfer Success Story!
University and College Relations (UCR) is pleased
to highlight the academic accomplishments of Mr.
Willis Pierson, an
Arizona native who attended Phoenix College (PC) from 2000 until
2003. While at PC, Mr. Pierson was a member
of Phi Theta
Kappa and graduated from the Honor's Program with high distinction
(3.9 GPA). He received not one, but two transfer degrees: an Associate
in Business Degree (General Requirements)
and an Associate in Transfer Partnership Degree in General Business
to ASU Tempe.
He transferred to ASU in 2003, and graduated in May
2005 Summa Cum Laude (3.9 GPA) from the W.P. Carey School of Business
at
Arizona
State University
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management and a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Marketing.
Willis made the Dean's Honor List
and National Dean's List every semester and was a member of Beta
Gamma Sigma, the most prestigious
honor for a business student in the country.
Congratulations, Mr. Pierson, on all your academic
achievements, both at Maricopa and ASU! You represent the success
of Maricopa transfer students and it is UCR's pleasure to highlight
that success this month.
