Park University

One Future. Yours. One Dream. Yours. One University. Park

Park University understands what a challenge it is to work full time, juggle family responsibilities and attend class. That is why Park offers a variety of quality education opportunities in accelerated formats that are designed to meet the needs of adult students with demanding schedules.

Park has been associated with the military since 1889, and has continued to grow to meet military needs. Park’s growth with the military flourished in 1972 with the establishment of the Military Resident Center System (MRCS). With the growing demands of the military student population, Park was encouraged to become one of the first accredited universities to develop an integrated online learning program. Founded in 1875 in Parkville, Mo., a suburb of Kansas City, Park University has developed into a comprehensive, independent, Master’s I institution that is a national leader in higher education. In 2000, Park achieved university status and now serves 25,169 students annually on 42 Campus Centers in 21 states and Online, including Campus Centers in Parkville, Independence, Kansas City, and Lexington, Missouri, and Austin, Texas.

Park continues to increase access to higher education by offering the quality undergraduate and graduate degrees students desire at locations, times and delivery formats that best serve their needs. Providing such access has developed considerable diversity among the student population, with more than 500 international students from 106 countries, and a 42 percent student representation from racial, ethnic and cultural groups typically under-represented in colleges and universities. The University has repeatedly been recognized as one of the top 100 American colleges/universities in the nation graduating Hispanic, African-American and American-Indian students.

Although Park’s roots are based in a 134 year history rich with traditional academic excellence, we today are very “non-traditional”. That’s because Park University specializes in high-quality educational services, delivered in innovative ways that allow working adults and military service personnel to complete their bachelor degrees.

Park University at the Luke Campus center has been here since 1976, serving the needs of the local surrounding areas. We invite you to visit us on Luke Air Force Base (623) 935-4424, or at http://www.park.edu/luke/ and see how Park can put the world at your fingertips
