Updates Regarding Arizona State University and
Transfer
Students
ASU is undergoing major reorganization and downsizing as a result of budget
cuts. They
are capping freshman class enrollment and have set a March 1, 2009 application
deadline for new freshman applicants. However, there
are no
changes for transfer students in admission criteria,
admission processes, or application dates. The preferential application date
for transfer students for fall 2009 continues to be June 1, 2009. Please
share this information if you receive questions about applying to ASU as
a transfer student.
The Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation is monitoring ASU's
programmatic changes and how they may affect transfer and articulation. Watch
for updates on email and in this newsletter.
