Find Your Home Away from Home at The University of Arizona (UA)
It’s that time of year again! It’s time for those newly admitted UA transfer students to start looking at the housing options available to them at UA. It can seem like a daunting process at first, especially for those students that haven’t spent a lot of time in Tucson. However, UA tries to take the guesswork out of your housing search. For students that want to be right in the middle of the action and live in one of UA’s 23 residence halls, the Office of Residence Life is the source for all on-campus housing options. (Continued...)
Connect to your Northern Arizona University (NAU) bachelor’s degree at Maricopa Community Colleges Connection Days
Learn how you can earn a Northern Arizona University bachelor’s degree in Maricopa County without having to put the rest of your life on hold. Convenient and affordable transfer programs from community colleges to NAU will be featured and celebrated during Connection Days, Feb 21-23, on Maricopa Community College campuses.
Come join in the festivities and learn how to boost your know-how and earning power.The partnership between the Maricopa Community Colleges and NAU is the Connection. Through the Connection, students can transfer up to 90 credits in some degree programs or enroll in a Connect2NAU joint admission program. (Continued...)
How to Apply to Arizona State University (ASU) as a Transfer Student
For students wishing to pursue their bachelor’s degree at ASU, the application process is straightforward. Apply online (www.asu.edu/ugapp), send all official transcripts, and pay the application fee by the priority application date http://transfer.asu.edu/apply specified for each semester. This will start the transfer admissions process. Soon after you apply, you will receive a notice confirming that your application has been received. Once you apply, you will be able to monitor your application status on My ASU, which provides students with personalized access to university transactions and services.
ASU’s transfer specialists are well-prepared and ready to assist you as you complete your transition to the university. You can find the answers to frequently asked questions about transferring or contact your transfer specialist at transfer.asu.edu (http://transfer.asu.edu).
Grand Canyon University’s (GCU) Forensic Science Day
Grand Canyon University’s Forensic Science Day is Wednesday, April 4th from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is an exciting opportunity to participate in a crime scene competition, listen to experienced speakers from forensic science fields, and learn more about GCU! Lunch will be provided.

Also, due to unprecedented high demand, GCU's College Major Scholarship Award is only available for a limited time until Monday, February 13, 2012. Students with an eligible major who meet this award's criteria and are registered for the Fall 2012 semester prior to this date will still be eligible for these funds. Any new student registering for courses on or after Monday, February 13, 2012 will be ineligible for the awards.

A University of Maryland University College (UMUC) education offers many advantages to transfer students. For instance, students can transfer up to 70 credits from any Maricopa Community College to UMUC. UMUC accepts a variety of transfer credits ranging from military credits to credit by examination. Students can also obtain college credit from their previous work experience through our Prior Learning program. Make the most of your transfer credits!

What's New in Transfer! Social media Feeds
CCTA is excited to announce What's New in Transfer!, a webpage that lists Facebook posts and Twitter feeds about University Transfer within the Maricopa Community Colleges. College marketing and advising departments can use this page to obtain daily social media feeds to update college websites. Help us get the word out to students about What's New in Transfer!
Discover DeVry University
On March 10th, DeVry University will be hosting an event called Discover DeVry University. This event provides students with an opportunity to learn more about DeVry University and its programs. BS to MBA: Excelsior Launches Accelerated Degree Program for Aspiring Business Students: A great opportunity for students from partner organizations and institutions
Excelsior College has announced the launch of a dual track business program that will allow students to simultaneously complete a Bachelor of Science degree in one of ten concentrations while getting a head start on their MBA. The program is designed to lower costs and decrease the time it would normally take to separately complete both programs. (Continued...)
regis University
Do you have students wanting to take the CPA exam? Regis University’s School of Management not only prepares adult students to build, grow, and maintain businesses large and small, but also teaches them to be fiscally prudent leaders while staying aware of the value and the development of individual talent. Recently, the School of Management has updated the Accounting program curriculum to make three courses part of the foundational course requirements. Regis did this to better prepare our students for the CPA exam. To find out more about the Accounting Program requirements see our degree overview.
The 90/30 program allows students to earn a Bachelor’s degree in less time and for less money. Students can take credits at the community college beyond their Associate’s degree to transfer up to 90 credit hours into Regis University.
