Preparing to transfer to the University of Arizona and need to get connected on campus? The Transfer Student Center purposes itself with easing the transfer process for UA students who arrive from other colleges and universities.

Each year, thousands of Transfer Students apply and are admitted to the UA, but some feel lost after the initial excitement of receiving their admissions letter. Because there is no traditional on-campus orientation for Transfer Students, some students need a resource to coordinate admissions, financial aid, academic advising, and campus life. This is where the Transfer Center comes in.  (Continued...)

Alliance Merit Scholarship

Students who have completed their associate’s degree are now automatically considered for the Alliance Merit Scholarship once they are admitted to ASU. The scholarship is awarded to students who have completed an associate’s degree from a Maricopa Community College with a cumulative transfer grade point average (GPA) of 3.75 or higher. It is a pleasure to recognize the academic achievements of the 205 Maricopa Community College students who were awarded the Alliance Merit Scholarship during the 2010-11 academic year. We wish them continued success in their educational pursuits at Arizona State University.
