ASU’s Most Flexible Option for Working Adults
Have you ever worked with an adult student who simply wants the quickest way to a bachelor’s degree? Often students will explain their work and family obligations, and it is difficult to imagine how they will be able to complete their bachelor’s degree. ASU’s most flexible option for adult degree completion is the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) in Organizational Studies. This degree program accepts up to 75 credits in transfer when a student has completed their Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) with the Maricopa Colleges. The remaining 45 credits can be completed entirely online, making this an ideal option for busy adults whose class schedules might be difficult to accommodate. The emphasis in Organizational Studies prepares students for the dynamics of contemporary organizations. Students will gain valuable knowledge about management styles, communication strategies, technologies, diversity, ethics, and politics.
