University of Phoenix Free Workshops
In partnership with University of Phoenix, Stacie Garlieb, President of Successful Impressions, LLC, presents the Scholarship Workshops and Career Workshop Series at many of the University’s Valley locations. What sets these workshops apart from others is Garlieb’s expertise that includes more than 20 years of experience at Fortune 500 organizations. She has worked to recruit and manage graduates for entry-level sales, merchandising and management positions. For those students wanting to attend a four-year college, the Scholarship Workshops in July reveal how to find and pursue scholarships that can help them pay for their education. The Career Workshop Series from August through October teaches students about résumé building, interview preparation, interview skills, re-careering and transitioning in the workforce.
Garlieb has been featured on news programs offering résumé, interview and career skills tips. She is the author of the “Career Search Skills Series” books, which offer generation-specific guides to help people navigate the job search process. Through group presentations and one-on-one coaching on all career search-related topics she has worked with public and private college students nationwide since 1991.
