Maricopa Community Colleges, Albright College Agreement Supports Mesa Initiative to Increase Transfer Options

logo of Albright collegeThe Maricopa Community Colleges have signed a transfer agreement with Albright College of Reading, PA, one of three nationally recognized schools to recently announce plans to establish a presence in Mesa, AZ.  Illinois-based Benedictine University announced its plan to expand to Mesa in January, and Missouri-based Westminster College followed suit last month. Albright College will begin offering classes this fall, becoming the first out-of-state institution to open its doors as part of the city’s initiative to bring more higher education options to the region. Through Albright’s Accelerated Degree Completion Program (DCP), the College will offer bachelor’s degree programs in Organizational Behavior/Applied Psychology, Business Administration, and Information Systems. As part of the partnership agreement, all students who earn an Associate's degree at any Maricopa Community College will receive a $2500 scholarship (prorated over 16 courses). In addition, the application fee will be waived.
