Maricopa Community Colleges are able to report regularly about
student transfer to the three state universities. It has been much
more challenging to collect information about where Maricopa students transfer
outside the statewide transfer system. A recent evaluation conducted
by the Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation (CCTA) provides preliminary
data about transfer to other university partner institutions.
Fourteen universities with formal Maricopa transfer agreements provided enrollment
statistics for students who had transferred one or more credits from a Maricopa
Community College. The chart below shows the results reported for Fall
2007 undergraduate enrollment. The CCTA continues to refine an annual
reporting system for transfer partners. Access

University and
Transfer
Students
ASU is undergoing reorganization and downsizing as a result of
budget cuts. There are no changes for transfer students in
admission criteria, admission processes, or application dates. The preferential
application date for transfer students for fall 2009 continues to be
June 1, 2009. Please share this information if you receive questions
about applying to ASU as a transfer student.
The Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation is monitoring ASU's
programmatic changes and how they may affect transfer and articulation. Watch
