Chandler-Gilbert Community College Transfer & Career Exploration Fair
Chandler-Gilbert Community College Career Services hosted a Transfer & Career Exploration Fair on October 22, 2008. The purpose of the fair was to provide current Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) students with career planning information about current programs at CGCC as well as information about transferring to another institution for completion of a bachelor’s degree. Representatives from the academic departments of CGCC and Arizona Universities were available to meet with students to discuss the transfer requirements and deadlines of their various programs. The CGCC faculty and staff encouraged students to participate and several hundred students attended the Transfer Fair. The Career Center helped to attract students with a swimming pool filled with career ducks. Students raced a duck related to their major while the Career Center staff gathered career related information for them and guided them to appropriate transfer partners.
