MCCCD & NAU: Connecting Students to Business Administration in the Valley

The Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), currently offered at Paradise Valley Community College, is one degree option that students are completing successfully. Students from several colleges across the district matriculate into this management program and choose from one of three degree emphases: Management, Small Business Management, and Global Management.  The program allows students flexibility with their class scheduling, through both day and evening classes. On-site NAU advisors assist students with transfer and admissions requirements.  The articulated pathway for students entering the B.B.A. is the Associate in Business (ABus) degree.

Since 2006, when the business program was first offered, more than 30 MCCCD students have completed their NAU bachelor's degree. More than 100 students are currently enrolled, with projections that the program will reach 200 students by the fall 2010 semester.  Students have a chance to put their knowledge into practice with paid internships provided by local Valley companies.  Many NAU faculty are business leaders from local and national organizations, blending real-world experience into their instruction. Student can start the program in either fall or spring semesters.
