Maricopa/ASU RN-BSN Pathway Update

In the past, the nursing program at ASU has had capacity limitations such that only those students who had a 2.75 GPA in the specified set of courses and met all of the other requirements of the RN-BSN pathway were guaranteed admission into the program.  Those with a 2.50-2.74 GPA in that specified set of courses were also considered for the program depending on space availability.  ASU has informed us that effective this fall, students with a 2.5 GPA in the specified set of courses, who also meet all of the other requirements, will be guaranteed admission in to the RN-BSN program, per the pathway agreement. Please share this change with Maricopa students and those who would be interested in this update.

Several new Maricopa-ASU Pathways Program (MAPPs) are now available to students.

photo of Ms Courtney Joseph

My name is Courtney Joseph and I am the UA's Admissions Counselor for the Maricopa Community Colleges. I wanted to take some time to introduce myself, as I know I have not met everyone. I am a University of Arizona Alumni and I graduated in 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the Eller College of Management. In pursuing my education at the UA, I also took classes at two of the Maricopa Community Colleges, and Pima Community College to stay on track to graduate in 4 years. Glendale Community College and Estrella Mountain Community College provided me the opportunity to come home (Avondale, AZ) for the summer without putting aside academics to do so. (Continued...)
