Maricopa – ASU Pathways Program (MAPP) MAPPs

Beginning October 1, 2009, Maricopa students are able
to choose from many Maricopa – ASU Pathways Program (MAPP) MAPPs leading to majors at ASU. These are some of the most popular majors for Maricopa - to - ASU transfer students.

A MAPP is an articulated associate’s degree to bachelor’s degree transfer program. MAPPs are an excellent option for Maricopa students who are decided about a major area of study, intend to transfer into a particular program at ASU, and commit to specific terms for MAPP completion. These terms include:

MAPPs will be promoted with prospective students, new students, and continuing students who have an AGEC in progress and meet the above conditions. Within the next year, MAPPs will be available for additional ASU majors.

Printed materials have been disseminated to the colleges and are available through the college Marketing departments. Additionally, a section on the Alliance site has been created for Faculty and Staff to access marketing collateral and advising resources .

In The Spotlight: New general Studies Web Page

The Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation (CCTA) is excited to share the newly redesigned General Studies page. The page has been simplified so that the user can find items more easily. There are four main sections: Process and Procedures; Essentials; Resources; and Faculty General Studies Representative. Each of these sections has been redesigned so that the most popular pages can be easily accessed. Access web page.

Instructional Council (IC) Meeting manager

At the request of IC Chairs, CCTA has a created web tool that allows ICs to post meeting dates, agendas, and documents. The tool was created to support the ICs and their business processes. To access the IC Meeting Manager.

Indiana University To Discontinue 90/30 program This Fall

This is a reminder that the deadline to participate in the Bachelor's of General Studies (BGS) at Indiana University has passed. October 2, 2009 was the deadline to apply to the 90/30 program. (Continue..)

University of the Incarnate Word School of Extended Studies-Arizona Campus

Since its founding in 1881 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) has been a leader in faith-based and liberal arts education. Today, UIW is the largest Catholic university in Texas and that state’s third largest private university. News From Capella University

We are very pleased to announce that the School Psychology specialization in the Harold Abel School of Psychology has received approval from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).  This approval for the Master’s and Certificate program highlights Capella University as the first and only online university to be approved.  The conditional approval is from January 1, 2010-December 31, 2011. The NASP approval recognizes the quality of the curriculum and clinical experiences of the School Psychology program. (Continue...)
