Connect2NAU
Incoming freshman can take advantage of Connect2NAU, a joint admission program with the Maricopa Community Colleges. Connect2NAU saves students time and money, enabling completion of an NAU bachelor’s degree for less than half the cost of a four-year public university education. Students are admitted to NAU while earning an associate’s degree at a Maricopa Community College and receive intensive support to ensure a smooth path to completing their bachelor’s degree. At WIU, It’s Possible to Live. Work. Learn.
Everyone knows that education is a key factor in a successful career, and Western International University (WIU) wants to help Maricopa Community College students continue and complete their bachelor degrees. WIU partners with the Maricopa colleges and now offers associate degree graduates a tuition grant credit up to $2,000 AND $500 in textbook materials credit.* Plus, WIU can apply full transfer credit for your Maricopa associate degree toward your WIU bachelor degree, reducing the number of credits you will need to complete at WIU. Introducing ASU's Transfer Times Newsletter
ASU’s Office of Transfer Partnerships is happy to announce the inaugural edition of the Transfer Times, an ASU newsletter geared specifically for our colleagues at the Maricopa Community Colleges. We will publish news quarterly, with hopes of improving communication about our Alliance partnership and sharing information about ASU that will be of specific interest to employees of the Maricopa District. Many Maricopa Community College District employees will be receiving the first copy via email from the Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation at the District Office. New Transfer Partner Seach Tool For Maricopa Students
Now transfer students can use a searchable database to find the university that best fits their academic goals based on program offerings, costs, location, and delivery format. In addition to the seach, students can also access university transfer guides and scholarship information from several university partners. University Partner Search Tool.
Kaplan University Webinars for faculty and staff
Kaplan University hosts free webinars featuring respected authors, notable persons and experts in various fields. They will speak on a wide range of interesting topics in an interactive webinar environment where you can participate. Topics may range from "How to give powerful presentations " to "Building your personal brand" to tips and advice on how to bolster your resume and improve your job search. Our Career Resources team hosts webinars designed to help you become more marketable in a competitive workplace and our Academic webinars showcase Student and Faculty in discussions about our programs and degrees. Grand Canyon University’s 25th Annual College of Nursing and Health Sciences Day
Do you know any students considering a career in nursing or the health sciences? If so, they are invited to attend GCU’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences Day on Friday, November 5, from 7 am-1 pm. The event takes place on the GCU campus and will feature guest speakers, cadaver lab tours, and more! GCU’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences features bachelor’s degrees in nursing, biology, pre-med, exercise science, athletic training, and several other subject areas. In fall 2011, the College will also be launching bachelor’s degrees in both forensic science and counseling! GCU is located at 3300 W. Camelback Road in Phoenix, just west of the I-17. Schedule a Presentation On Transfer
Earlier this year, CCTA surveyed Maricopa Community College faculty and staff about training opportunities on transfer and articulation related topics. These training modules will be available in two formats - in person and online. If you would like to schedule a presentation for a group at your college, please submit a Presentation Request Form.

There will be an orientation for all new Instructional Council (IC) Members. The orientation will cover roles and responsibilities, the statewide Articulation Task Forces (ATF), critical resources for ICs/ATFs, and more. Scholarships for NACCTEP Graduates
Western Governors University has partnered with member institutions of the National Association of Community Colleges with Teacher Education Programs (NACCTEP) to offer you a smooth transition between your two-year teacher education associate’s degree program and finishing your bachelor’s degree online. As a graduate or staff member of a NACCTEP member institution, you are eligible for the following benefits:
- Application Fee Waiver ($65 savings). When you apply for admission use “NCT1” as your affiliation code on the fee payment tab.
- Eligible to apply for the WGU NACCTEP Teacher Education Scholarship. This competitive scholarship is valued up to $2,000, and is specifically for graduates and staff of NACCTEP member institutions.
You may also be eligible for the following WGU scholarship programs:
- AARP Foundation — WGU Educational Assistance Program
- WGU Mathematics and Science Educators Scholarship
- WGU Spouses to Teachers Scholarship
