New Transfer Partner Search Tool For Maricopa Students
The Center for Curriculum and Transfer Articulation is pleased to announce the University Partner Search Tool. Now transfer students can use this tool to find the university that best fits their academic goals based on program offerings, costs, location, and delivery format. In addition to the seach, students can also access university transfer guides and scholarship information from several university partners. CCTA asks for your help in promoting the site by implementing the URL (http://www.maricopa.edu/transfer/partners/) on college webpages and sharing the site with students. 
New Joint Admission Program - Connect2NAU
Starting this fall, students can take advantage of Connect2NAU, a joint admission program with the Maricopa Community Colleges. Connect2NAU saves students time and money, enabling completion of an NAU bachelor’s degree for less than half the cost of a four-year public university education. Students are admitted to NAU while earning an associate’s degree at a Maricopa Community College and receive intensive support to ensure a smooth path to completing their bachelor’s degree. CCTA Announces New Partnership with Weber State University
Nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in northern Utah, Weber State University is located in the city of Ogden, a high adventure hotspot boasting two rivers, three ski resorts, an extensive trail system for hiking and biking, and much more.
With more than 230 programs to choose from, chances are Weber State has exactly what students are looking for. Weber students enjoy personal attention and small classes, with all classes taught by professors (no teaching assistants), 85% of whom have the highest possible degree in their field. Students enjoy knowing their professors on a one-to-one basis.
WSU is well known for its Health Professions programs, such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene, and Radiology. Other outstanding programs include Criminal Justice, Education, Musical Theatre, Athletic Training, and Business programs. In addition, WSU has very high placement rates into graduate and professional schools such as medical, dental, and law schools.
Online education is huge at WSU, with more than 400 online classes and several online degrees available. WSU has a program called Bachelor of Integrated Studies which allows a student to combine 3 areas on emphasis, 10 of which are offered online, into a bachelors degree.

Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) Database: The official Repository of general education designations
The statewide AGEC database is now available for college use; it will serve as the official repository of general education decisions for Maricopa effective August 1. The AGEC Matrix, the static document that was used in the past, will no longer be available after October 2010. Fall 2010 Transfer Fairs
The Maricopa Community Colleges will be hosting University Transfer Fairs for 2010. The fairs will help Maricopa students learn about opportunities for transferring to four-year universities, including how to apply to universities, how to transfer Associate degrees, and which programs are offered at universities.
