Rio Salado College Professional Development Institute

Through its new Professional Development Institute (PDI), Rio Salado College continues to offer many internet courses that are accepted by the Arizona Department of Education and lead to approved endorsements.  In addition, Rio Salado College now provides high quality professional development presentations, educational offerings, seminars and workshops to schools, districts and public and private organizations that can be offered onsite or in an internet format.  The Institute can meet schools’, districts’, and organizations’ specific and unique needs through cost effective professional development contracts for Early Childhood and K-12.  The PDI works with schools, districts and organizations in areas such as academic content, classroom management, ELL, teaching and learning methodologies/strategies, etc. and delivers them in a format that the school/district/organization determines best meets the needs of the intended audience.  Continuing Education Units (CEUs) can also be awarded if requested. The PDI is prepared to respond to professional development needs in a relatively short period of time.
