For Students:
The Alliance is a partnership between Arizona State University
and the Maricopa Community Colleges to offer the Organizational
Studies program (Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies - BIS
degree) to students seeking a
flexible, meaningful and rigorous on-line
degree. The program is also offered for on-ground, or in-person,
study. Students will:
- Be guaranteed admission to ASU upon completion of their AGEC requirements
- Benefit by completing their AA degree at one of the Maricopa Community
Colleges, in concert with their BIS degree at ASU
- Be granted permission to transfer up to 75 credits from two-year and community colleges
- Receive the highest quality academic advising throughout their academic careers
- Enjoy the freedom and flexibility to take classes that are meaningful to them while earning a degree that is respected, marketable and applicable to the 21st century workplace
