| | A Checklist for Students |
Have you learned the ASU program admission requirements for your major? This would include specified coursework, GPA requirements, and any additional special requirements such as test scores. |
Have you completed an educational plan that shows you can finish the course work within the three-year time frame, including any prerequisites and developmental coursework? |
Do you understand that MAPP benefits are for students who complete the MAPP and are awarded an AGEC and Associate’s degree from a Maricopa Community College? Transferring before the MAPP is 100% complete has no additional benefit. |
Do you understand that changing to another MAPP will reset your start date to the semester you changed majors? Your ASU tuition rate will be set to the new term which most likely will be a higher rate. |
Do you understand that your admissions and transcript information will be shared with Arizona State University and the Maricopa Community Colleges and any information provided may be retained in the records of both institutions? |
Do you understand the Tuition Incentive and the other benefits of satisfying the MAPP requirements? |
Do you understand that you must meet ASU’s residency requirements when enrolling at ASU in order to receive the tuition benefit? |
Do you understand that in following a MAPP you must meet all applicable ASU requirements and deadlines pertaining to application for admission, residency, and registration? |
Do you understand the steps required to transfer once your MAPP is completed? See http://transfer.asu.edu/communitycolleges and speak to a transfer advisor at your college.
Do you understand that if you have taken coursework from private or non-Arizona public colleges or universities and you want to have the coursework considered for use on the MAPP, you must have these courses evaluated and approved by ASU prior to use in the pathway? The form to submit coursework for this evaluation and approval can be found online at http://articulation.asu.edu/pathwaycredit. |
