ASU Honors Program:

Maricopa Community Colleges Honors Programs:

The current Maricopa-ASU Honors Alliance offers two programs for interested and eligible Honors students. The first is participation with all events and services related to the Honors Alliance, including information sessions, advisor and faculty connections, lecture series, etc. The second program specifically connects students with a scholarship opportunity at the university. Eligibility for each of these programs is as follows.

Honors Alliance General Program:
This program is offered to all Presidential Scholars and Honors Fee Waiver Students currently enrolled at any one of the Maricopa Community Colleges. Key academic and student services are coordinated through this unique ASU-Maricopa collaboration.

Honors Alliance Scholarship Program:
Each year, one hundred Honors Alliance scholarships are made available for Honors students transferring to ASU. To be eligible to apply for the Honors Alliance Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a current Maricopa President's Scholarship recipient or Honors Fee Waiver student;
  • Possess a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher;
  • Have already earned a minimum of 36 credits and be enrolled to complete 48 credits before transferring; and
  • Have met the above criteria while being enrolled at Maricopa as a full-time student for four (4) semesters.

Students are encouraged to visit this web site frequently to learn more about the events, scholarships, and services available to them. Transfer scholarships to ASU for the fall of 2008 semester will likely open in February.
