Dean Marian Tadano

Dean Marian Tadano is a graduate of Glendale High School. She received her B.S. degree at University of Arizona in Zoology and her M.A. degree in Education at Central Michigan University.
Marian was a faculty member at Phoenix College (PC) teaching Chemistry for 23 years before serving as Senior Associate Dean of Instruction at PC. She is currently serving as Dean of Instruction for PC.
Marian has been active in the community promoting Asian Americans in the areas of diversity and health issues. She serves on the board of several organizations including the Maricopa County of Health, Japanese American Citizens League, Arizona Asian American Association, and Harmony Alliance.
Marian started the first Asian American Student Association of Phoenix College and served as faculty advisors for 4 years.
