202: Authority of the Chief Procurement Officer
As named and approved by the Governing Board, the Director
of Strategic Business Operations serves as the Chief Procurement
Officer for the District.
Consistent with the rules and regulations which govern the
District, the Chief Procurement Officer shall adopt operational
procedures governing the internal functions of the Purchasing
Department.
Except as otherwise noted, the Chief Procurement Officer
shall, in accordance with the rules and regulations affecting
the District, procure or supervise the procurement of all supplies,
services, and construction needed by the District.
