Services to be performed: Design for the construction of a new addition to Estrella Hall approximately 43,000 square feet along with the remodeling of approximately 15,000 square feet within the existing building. The new addition will include Learning Studios (classrooms), Learning Support spaces (student collaboration rooms and tutoring area), Faculty Offices, Information Commons, Library space and a large meeting room. Renovation of the existing building will include modifications to the current Information Commons, Library and IT Department (including Server Room). The District intends to construct this project using a construction manager at risk delivery system. The (CMAR) will be selected shortly after the consultant selection.
The Request For Proposal may be picked up at the Maricopa Community Colleges, District Support Services Center, Purchasing Office, 5th Floor at 2411 West 14th Street, Tempe, Arizona. For further information concerning receiving a copy of this Request For Proposal contact the MCCD Purchasing Dept. at (480) 731-8520.

PERFORMING ARTS CENTER RENOVATION, REMODELING & REPAIRS AT SCOTTSDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE, PROJECT NUMBER 090022
It is the intent of the MCCCD to select a contractor for the renovation, remodeling and repairs to the Performing Arts Center at Scottsdale Community College. Work will include normal and typical finishes, structure, interior construction and mechanical, plumbing and eletrical system work to (a) remove existing storage deck and offices, then construct a new structural storage deck, offices beneath and adjacent improvements in the scene shop; (b) renovate staff office space and construct a new data room; (c) demolish existing and construct new dressing rooms and public restrooms; (d) construct a new public lobby and east entrance; (e) remodel and provide improvements in the existng lobby including office, storage room and guest services area; (f) remodel and provide improvements in the theater house and stage area including modifying entries, general lighting, seating, audio and lighting control stations, replacing stage covering, theater rigging and lighting. Each bis shall be in accordance with the specifications issued by the MCCCD. The construction budget for this work is estimated between $1,500.000 and $1,650,000.
