The OPAT has since lead and completed a variety of Business Process Analysis projects within MCCCD, including Chandler Gilbert Community College (CGCC) Technology, CGCC Prospect Recruitment and Follow Up, MCCCD HR Applicant Communication, and MCCCD Creative Pathways to name just a few.
Currently, the OPAT is focused on a program to train employees to perform their own business process documentation and improvement projects. The OPAT will continue to perform its roles as in the past, but now will primarily be a teacher and coach to other departments' Analyst trainees. As the Analyst trainees becomes more proficient in the skills required to manage, facilitate, and analyze projects and business processes, the OPAT's role and time commitment will gradually decrease, freeing the OPAT for additional projects. With this methodology, many more departments across the District will be able to utilize the OPAT's services for Business Process Analysis projects.
