Community & Policy Issue Forums

The Center for Civic Participation holds public forums multiple times a year on policy issues of concern to the community. These are forums led by a panel of policy makers or other subject matter experts recruited to provide participants with an overview of the issue from different perspectives, with time built in for questions from the audience and interaction among the panelists.

    UPCOMING FORUMS

Maricopa Community College Governing Board Policy Forums
Beginning April, 2010, Maricopa Community Colleges will conduct a series of forums to engage community members in discussion about our Vision, Values and Mission statements, and to gather input about how Maricopa can better serve the needs and interests of the community.

To volunteer as a facilitator, or for information about attending, contact the Center for Civic Participation at (480) 731-8927 or civic.participation@domail.maricopa.edu.

    RECENT FORUMS

"Speaking, Not Shouting: A Community Conversation about Health Care Reform"
