As Chancellor of the Maricopa Community Colleges, I believe in the potential and the power of the ‘Maricopa experience’ for our students. That experience needs to reflect common values at every college and be a reflection of what we believe as a community…we believe in student success and that students have the right to succeed…
Structurally, organizationally, in the classroom and out, in our scheduling and class offerings, in our financial aid and academic support, in teaching and advising and all that we do, we will make certain that every student has a reasonable chance to be successful.
That is my responsibility; it is the responsibility of our college presidents and administrators; it is the responsibility of our faculty and student affairs professionals and of all who labor in our community.
