Once you decide on a major, "get connected" to an educational plan that keeps you on track to meet course requirements in a timely manner.

An educational plan includes courses needed to complete an associate’s degree, meet your major/program requirements and ensure a smooth transition when you transfer to NAU.

When selecting classes, you should include course prerequisites and course work necessary for college success. Many NAU programs build on your associate's degree and an appropriate AGEC (Arizona General Education Curriculum). Advisors can tell you which AGEC may be best for your plan. Your plan should also include non-academic requirements and activities, like service or leadership activities, and reminders of dates and deadlines.

Use your educational plan as a guide and re-evaluate it each semester so it coordinates with your academic progress, course schedule, and other priorities.
