Rendering Techniques |

|
Provides students with advanced instruction utilizing Sketchup, Google Earth, Sandbox and Podium rendering software for school and workplace applications. Creation of photo-realistic rendered three-dimensional interior and exterior building/site views. Prerequisites: ARC265 or permission of Instructor. |

Sketchup
II: Advanced Rendering Techniques |
|
1. Demonstrate
proficient use of standard and advanced Sketchup
drawing tools through the creation of three-dimensional models. (I) 2. Create/save
multi-part components. (I, II) 3. Apply
textures, materials, and images to building geometry. (I) 4. Download
and incorporate Web components. (I, II) 5. Insert
and create light fixtures; Create Omni lights and LEM’s. (III) 6. Set
surface light/reflection values to using Podium software. (IV) 7. Create/adjust
photo-realistic renderings settings using Podium software. (IV) 8. Create
land contours/site topography Sandbox. (VIII) 9. Apply
shadows for light studies of site. (III, IV, V) 10. Export
3-Dimentional models into Google Earth for site analysis. (V, VI) 11. Plot
in AutoCAD. (VII) |
