A sound background for selection and improvement of beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep, swine, and stock horses. Study of the skeleton and its influence on shape, muscle structure, and general economic usefulness. Critical appraisal of the strong and weak points of animals and their value for the purpose for which they are being raised. Prerequisites or Corequisites: ANS110 or permission of instructor.
