Principles of Fiduciary Practice
Examines the foundations and requirements for fiduciary practice in Arizona including certification. Introduction to office practices, probate, care management, accounting, and decision making. Emphasis on ethical and professional practices. Prerequisites: None.

1. Explain and illustrate terminology and basic principles associated with fiduciary requirements and practice in Arizona. (I)
2. Identify and explain the importance of available resources and sources of information in a variety of fiduciary practice settings. (I)
3. Identify, describe, and explain basic principles associated with and mechanisms for property control. (I-IV, VI, VII)
4. Identify, locate, and describe legal requirements as they pertain to fiduciary practice in Arizona. (I–VII)
5. Identify, describe, and illustrate professional behavior with respect to fiduciary practice including recognition of personal limitations and interaction with stakeholders. (I–VII)
6. Examine and critique sample policies, procedures, instruments, and documents associated with effective fiduciary practice. (I–VII)
