institution, and citizen volunteer groups. Prerequisites: GBS151 and permission of Instructor.
Course Notes: GBS282AA may be repeated

|
I. Service-Learning Core
Components. Activities: Each service-learning experience will have different
activities. Those starred (*) are required of all participating students.
Others may fulfill competencies. 1. *Complete college/agency
orientation 2. *Complete fifty (50)
clock contact hours in the agency per semester credit 3. *Keep a journal of daily
activities to demonstrate a variety of experiences 4. *Attend and participate
in group feedback sessions to share experiences with other service- learning
participants 5. *Meet a minimum of 2
times per semester with faculty coordinator 6. *Complete written
evaluation of service-learning experience providing suggestions for
improvement of the program |
