1. Describe
normal and abnormal states in the body that may produce disease. (I, II) 2. Describe
physiologic effects of disease on body organs and systems. (II) 3. Describe the
diagnosis, effect, and treatment of fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base
imbalances in the body. (III) 4. Describe the
clinical manifestations, diagnosis, body system effects of selected disease
processes. (IV-XIV) 5. Relate the
presence of a diseased state and its appearance in a diagnostic medical
image. (IV-XV) 6. Describe the
management, treatment, therapy, and health restoration for selected disease
processes as it relates DMI and the role of the practitioner. (IV-XV) 7. Explain the role
of DMI as it relates to other health care professionals in disease diagnosis
and management, and in health restoration. (IV-XV) |
