Emphasis
on bone and respiratory system imaging. Evaluation of images related to
clinical situations and procedures including patient history, patient
preparation, name and energy of radiopharmaceutical, method of localization, dosimetry, and method of clearance. Normal and abnormal
distribution. Need for additional views and/or procedures. Technical
limitations, protocol and equipment parameters and procedure results.
Sectional human anatomy. Emphasis on the upper and lower extremities. Prerequisites: Admission to Nuclear Medicine
Technology program. |

normal distribution, abnormal distribution, artifacts, additional views,
additional procedures, any technical limitations either patient or equipment.
