Striking fashions and dances from countries including Vietnam, Korea, the Philippines, Japan and China were among the bill of fare at the annual Gala Scholarship Fundraiser of the Asian/Pacific Islander Association held in early March.

About 300 persons from the Maricopa Community Colleges, as well as members of the community, enjoyed numerous courses of Chinese food at the C-Fu Gourmet Restaurant in Chandler.
