Conversation Partner Program

The Conversation Partner Program provides a vehicle for developing connections between American and International students at Scottsdale Community College.  It is a collaboration of SCC's Diversity Committee, International Education Programs and the Diversity Infusion Program.

Students sign up for the program and are partnered with one student from the United States and one International Student. Together they practice their language skills with native speakers, enhance their listening skills, learn new cultures and develop friendships. 

The project was conceived by Dr. Bonnie Gray and the Diversity Infusion Program. Diversity Infusion student interns work to maintain the CPP with their collaborating partners.  Now they are looking for opportunities to share it with other colleges.
