Online forms are a great
convenience and may even save a few trees. No system is perfect,
however, and it is a good idea to save a copy of the information
you submit using the forms on this site. Here are some suggestions:
File Copy:
- On your web browser's
drop-down "File" menu, select "Save As". Navigate
to the folder on your hard drive where you store your Diversity
Infusion work and name and save your file in the .txt format. This
will save a text file of the blank form fields.
- Open the text file you
just created.
- Use the "Copy" command
on the "Edit" drop-down menu of your browser to copy
a response in a text field on the form.
- Use the "Paste" command
on the "Edit" drop-down menu of your text editor or word
processor to paste your response next to the appropriate form field.
- Repeat for all fields.
Check box indicators need to be entered manually.
- You can reverse this
process to re-enter your form field data from the text editor or
word processor if necessary.
- You may choose to enter
your responses into the saved text file and then paste them into
the form. This could be very useful for long form items, or if
you will be working on the form over several sessions.
- You may have screen capture
software which can be used to save an image file, or picture, of
your completed form.
Hard Copy:
- You can print your completed
form using the "Print" command on the "File" drop-down
menu on your web browser.
- Adobe .pdf files are
provided for some forms. These can be printed and filled in manually.
