By agreeing to participate in the MCCCD Diversity Infusion Program,
I understand that I will receive a stipend for the current District
pay rate for 90 hours (equivalent to one 3-hour load course) during
the academic year for which I am participating in the Program. In
exchange for this stipend, I agree to complete the following requirements
for accountability to the Program.
1. Attend all seminars
during my one-year internship with the Program
2. Complete accountability

B. Create a summary
of the results from Student Evaluations
You will provide students the opportunity to evaluate the course
you infused with diversity, and provide a summary of their responses.
You do NOT need to provide raw data, or a list of every
response.
However, you may include a few representative comments
or a few comments that are beneficial if you wish. PDF

C. Complete an on-line Analysis
of the Diversity Infusion Project Process. This is a short
survey-type instrument only requiring checkmarks. PDF version

form describing the Aspects Of Diversity
Focused Upon In Infused Classes
This document requires you to simply list aspects of diversity
you infused in your course (e.g., gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity,
disability, socioeconomic status, and so on).

3. Faculty are expected to make a verbal presentation of how they
infused their courses with diversity to the participants
of the Program.
4. Faculty are responsible
for discussing with the Executive Director,
Dr. Bonnie A. Gray,
any problems they are having or any issues they need help resolving.
Bonnie Gray and the participants of the Program are very supportive
and encouraging of faculty, but we can’t offer help if
we don’t know that you are
having some issue for which you need help. Faculty are expected to demonstrate
self-initiative and integrity with regard to completing their accountability
requirements and infusing their courses with diversity.
5. Faculty may be asked
to leave the Program if their behavior is inappropriate, if their
behavior is causing problems for other participants
of the Program, or if their behavior is considered to be a detriment
to the
Program.
