Maricopa Community Colleges'
Students Selected for All-Arizona Academic Team
Greater Phoenix - Nineteen
of Maricopa Community Colleges' students were selected for the All-Arizona
Academic Team. That makes up nearly one-third of the 60 community college
students throughout Arizona who were selected for this prestigious group.
Students selected receive a tuition waiver at one of Arizona's state universities
as well as an additional financial award ranging from $500 to $1,000.
The Academic Team competition
is sponsored by the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC)
and Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges.
