Exclusive Home Delivery Program- Mandatory mail order program that requires you to use the Home Delivery from the Express Scripts pharmacy for maintenance medications after 2 retail fills.
- If you attempt to fill a prescription at a participating retail pharmacy after 2 fills at retail, you will be charged 100% of MCCCD's discounted rate for the medication if obtained through an in-network pharmacy. This amount will be much higher than your copay amount.
- If you have filled a maintenance medication at the retail pharmacy, you will be receiving communications directly from Express Scripts notifying you that you must fill this medication through the Express Scripts mail order pharmacy.
- It will be your responsibility to contact Express Scripts to set up home delivery.
- If you choose not to use the home delivery option, your medications will not be covered by insurance. You will pay 100% of the cost of the medication.
- There is no opt-out option available.
