The goal of the HSE Facilitator Communities is to increase opportunities for training throughout the Maricopa Community Colleges through a volunteer facilitator community in alignment with MCCCD values of inclusiveness, learning and community.
The CPR/AED Facilitator Community was designed to provide time and life saving training for representatives of Maricopa County Community Colleges. The program is coordinated by EOLT at their home campuses and/or at other locations to ensure effective program delivery.
The volunteer facilitators receive an initial two day training to deliver American Heart Association's Heart Saver curriculum, are expected to conduct a minimum of two workshops per semester (8 hours), and maintain their instructor certification according to American Heart Association Guidelines.
Eligibility & Requirements
All MCCCD part-time or full-time Governing Board approved employees are eligible to apply. Recruitment occurs on an as needed basis
