This workshop will teach you how to start building your professional network by using social media, attending events, meeting other professionals and nurturing long-term relationships. Specific tips are included such as how to introduce yourself, make conversation and appropriately convey that you're looking for a job.

This interactive workshop is designed to provide participants with the basics on what to include in a cover letter, what format to utilize for their resume and what types of information to include in a portfolio so they are better prepared for finding a position within or outside of Maricopa Community Colleges.

They will learn about different types of interviews, how to market themselves, how to prepare for an interview, the types of questions they could be asked during an interview and what they should do after an interview.

This Maricopa Learns Through Service workshop is for employees interested in helping out in the community. We will be working with a local non-profit organization and helping them with one of their projects.

In an effort to aid employees in applying for MCCCD positions, Dr. Christine Hall, District Director of Employment and Recruitment, will conduct a one-hour session on the MCCCD application and interview process. Learn about cover letters, resumes, interview protocol, and other strategies.
