Since I came back to school, I had been borrowing from Peter to pay Paul, and the scholarship gave me breathing room, not to mention money to purchase my books.

General Information
Lisa Budinger will be awarded the Seventh Annual
Heroes of Education
Recognition Award. The dinner will be held on April 19, 2012
at the Arizona Biltmore Resort.
Heroes of Education is sponsored by the Maricopa Community Colleges and the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation. It honors those who have a proven personal and professional commitment to supporting students and educational opportunities.
Proceeds of the event benefit the ACE (Achieving a College Education) Program, Chicanos por la Causa (CPLC) Matching Scholarship Fund, and the General Scholarship Fund.
